I am 37.5 weeks pregnant so needless to say WE ARE SOOOOOO EXCITED! We will soon get to have a baby. I can't believe it's almost time to meet our daughter. It just sounds so sureal when I say it like that "DAUGHTER". Makes it very official.
Well with only couple of weeks to go (or sooner) we still don't have the middle name picked out yet. Scott and I have thought hard about it and the only ones that are in the running are Isabella Marie Karch and Isabella Rose Karch. Scott doesn't like Rose so he said he is putting his foot down (lol) and he said he doesn't dislike Marie. OMG! I have no idea what's going to happen when she arrives. Maybe at that time we'll come up with some other middle name or just pick one of the two I mentioned - who knows.....
I've put some new photos of her room and of my belly so you all can see how big I'm getting.
Nemo, the big brother, has been very patient and as you can see from the recent photos of him he's just simply waiting for her in his cuddling chair (lazy animal). Recently we had one of our friends from Boston visit us with their 5 month old baby girl and Nemo did really good with her (they use to live in Lexington but recently moved to Boston). We were so proud of him! Anyway, this is short update at this time and I hope that next one will have photos of our baby Isabella in it. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Wow! My baby is growing and with that is my belly too. Here are some updated shots of my belly. Today was my doctors appointment and everything was great, just getting close to my due date. I'm getting little bit more nervous but excited. Scott has been hearing these stories from people that had their babies 5-6 weeks early and he is now getting as nervous as I am. This soon will be a real thing and we'll get to hold our little princess in our arms and feed her and change her and love her.....WE CAN'T WAIT!
Keep checking in and we'll keep you posted on new events.

Updates from Scott and Ella
I know it's been awhile since I updated this thing but I've been kinda busy. In preparing for our new arrival Scott and I have been so busy and overwhelmed. To update you quickly here is what's been happening since the last blog:
- We've found out we're having a baby on November 4th, confirmed Nov 7th. I know this is already in there but I like to say it over and over. WE'RE HAVING A BABY! Our first ultrasound (at 8.5 weeks of pregnancy) on December 13th was incredible (see photos); I cried, Scott was overwhelmed - needless to say, we were speechless. There is something about listening to your baby's heart beat for the first time. It was surreal! It was exciting and unbelievable. I will never forget it.
- Being constantly hungry (no sickness); I've been getting bigger and bigger (see photos of my growing belly).
- During our annual Christmas visit to mom and dad in Denver, CO, my wonderful sister-in-law, Kelly VanAllsburg planned and hosted a SURPRISE baby shower for us. It was very emotional for me and one of the best surprises ever. She totally did it (you'd have to know her to know that was hard for her. Kelly, much like myself, can't keep surprises very well so to do this, organize it and all - GREAT JOB!) She's the best! I'm so glad to have her in my life and that I'm able to call her my sister. Thank you Kelly! We had fun and off course lot of food and great gifts. My first baby shower EVER was a hit.
- During the month of January Skip "the tool man" Karch came to Lexington to help his son, Scott with built-in bookshelves project that turned out "surprisingly" good. They are in our new office (our bonus room turned into an office so that the 1st floor bedroom/now called nursery can be on the same floor as our Master bedroom). WARNING LADIES: There might be some photos with two good looking guys in hardhats working together to make this happen...
- On February 28th we found out we're having a baby girl (see photos)!!! We've decided on a name - Isabella Karch. She doesn't have a middle name just yet but we worked hard on her first and her last name so we're taking a brake and soon will be announcing her middle name.
- March 15th - Baby room is finally done! Scott and I did all of the painting and drawing (don't worry, I had a double layered carbon mask during the whole painting process). Scott's mom bought her crib (isn't it pretty), and many MANY more items that I can't list right now otherwise it will take me whole day. She also made the curtains for her room and I went crazy and bought a whole bunch of baby clothes for my little baby girl - a whole bunch! Ohh well! She'll be styling soon.....
- On March 28th our friends, Michelle and Marci, hosted a baby shower in our honor and it was fabulous (wait till you see the cake they had for us). My mom, who lives in Bosnia was here as well as Scott's mom so it turned out great. A lot of people showed up and it was great seeing everyone. We've gotten lots and lots of gifts! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!
- On May 9th (yes, for Scott's birthday) we had a 3D ultrasound done and spied on our little precious girl. She was very active and showed us couple of her tricks: she was trying to put her whole fist in her mouth but didn't work out the way she wanted it so she started yawning (must of gotten tired of the whole exercise). Then I think she heard us talking about her and she smiled for daddy and mommy - maybe she was saying Happy Birthday Daddy! It was awesome! (see photos). I wish we can do this more often.
- I'm 32 weeks pregnant now and can't wait to be able to hold her in my arms. Scott is getting anxious too.....
That's all folks! I'll try to do better in the future.
